Of
Note

  • Please note: The property is located one flight down from street level on one side and at garden level on the other side. There is a lovely garden, which is shared with 3 neighbors. They use the garden quite infrequently but they might be there from time to time. The garden furniture is however, exclusive to the property. Also, next to the property is a restaurant that has a small outdoor courtyard with tables outside in the summer. When the courtyard is being used in the summer months by diners, you may notice some noise coming from the other side of the wall. This is only noticeable when in the garden, but normally not from inside the apartment. Please note: Parents should be aware that there are three steps down into the kitchen area. There are also two steps into the garden from the small courtyard outside the apartment. This could be dangerous for small children if not properly supervised. Please note: A resident in the building is an avid piano player. You may hear faint music from their flat from time to time. We hope you will find it enjoyable!

The Brompton flat in London is absolutely wonderful. It is large, bright, clean, and well-appointed. It is located in a great location - a scenic and short walk to the Earls Court tube station, and surrounded by many great restaurants, shops, and pubs. We particularly enjoyed La Papardella restaurant and the Starbucks that is right next door. The flat was perfect for our family of four. The bedrooms have comfortable beds, ample closet space, and pretty views of the outside courtyard. It was such a treat to return to our quiet flat after a long day of sightseeing in London. The convenience of having a kitchen and laundry was ideal. We bought food for breakfast from M&S Simply Food (close to the tube station), and used the toaster, microwave, and dishwasher. There are many travel books and guides in the flat that were quite helpful. There is also a MacBook - we used this to charge our iPhones and iPad (be sure to bring your own charger; you can plug it into the USB outlet on the MacBook). We used Blackberry Cars to transport us to the flat from Heathrow. They were professional and reasonable. For our departure, we used Uber - this was also a great choice. The proximity to Earl's Court tube station, and the fact that Earl's Court is on both the Picadilly and District lines, makes travel into central London extremely easy. We purchased Oyster cards at Earl's Court and were impressed by the helpfulness of the employees at the tube station. One day, we took the tube to Wimbledon (direct from Earl's Court), and from there took a South West train to Hampton Court Palace. For our family of four, the Brompton flat was a comfortable, convenient, and fabulous choice. It was the perfect "home away from home", and really made our trip to London more pleasant and enjoyable. We highly recommend it!

London was amazing, and it was more amazing and comfortable because of apartment BRO. The location is great! Near supermarkets, bus station, Underground, Overground, Coffe shops, etc etc and the street is really pretty with all it white houses. The apartment itself was perfect for us traveling with to small kids. Beds and linens were of the best quality, the ideal thing for a nights rest. Totally recomend this place and HIP for its great disposition and organisation.

Thanks very much for our wonderful stay in London at the Brompton apartment. We were very comfortable and really enjoyed the lovely neighborhood. We look forward to staying with you again in the future!

Property is as seen from the web! Excellent! Best choice for family holidays as we feel at home. Free call is really a great bonus! Greeter was not very helpful. If hip can provide pre-trip advice on the transportation and a write out and map on the property neighbor hood before our arrival will be a great help. HiP Note: We will be touching base with the greeter for the apartment and take a closer look at the map provided to guests in advance of their stay to ensure it is as helpful as possible.

Akua, our greeter, was wonderful. We once had a problem with the dishwasher and she was very kind and solved the problem. The cleaning was perfect. Sveta was very careful with details. We love her cleaning. The apartment is very comfortable, clear, with all the machines we need. Very well equipped. The location is the best. Near the tube and with lots of restaurants and markets nearby. We loved our stay there and we are going back as soon as possible.

The apartment was beautiful and the patio was a nice place to relax after a long day of sight-seeing. We loved the French doors in the front of the apartment and opened them often. The Earl's Court underground station is a short walk away so it's very easy to get around the city. A few great restaurants close by are Rocco on the corner, La Pappardella around the corner. The Brownie Box has great cupcakes. A few blocks away on Earl's Court Road is Garnier which is an amazing French restaurant. Our greeter, Francesca, was very nice. Also, we used Airport Executive car service for transportation from/to the airport. They were there on time and very professional.

We had a wonderful 10 days in London and the location and facilities of the Brompton flat made a significant contribution to our experience. The flat was clean, modern, very well equipped and close to tube and bus stops (We used both tube and bus and would urge other clients not to dismiss the buses - you see much more that way). We appreciated the library including up-to-date London guides, the umbrellas, and the laptop computer. The bottle of wine, flowers and items in the larder were a friendly touch. We made use of the garden on the warmer and drier occasions. Having a neighborhood pub (The Pembroke) and nearby restaurants, groceries, and, in particular, the coffee shop two doors away were big advantages. All round, the service at the flat was excellent. The flat was just a little tight for four adults plus a child; not a big problem. All five of us agreed that the Brompton flat was a lucky and happy choice for us. We would certainly like to stay there again on any future trip to London and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to a friend. Thank you Haven in Paris.

I stayed here for one week with my mother and sister, and this apartment was perfect for our needs. It is a very comfortable and well-appointed place. Everyone at Haven In Paris was so helpful and responsive. One little con about the noise: you can hear a fair amount of the activity in the apartment above this one. The Starbucks around the corner came in very handy, and there are numerous terrific restaurants within 5 minutes. *HiP Note: We are looking into the nosie from above, as this has not been reported as an issue in the past.

I was traveling with a friend and there were many things that we loved about this particular apartment. First, it is in a terrific location, being only about a 5 minute walk from Earl's Court Tube Station. It is also very close to great restaurants and markets and next door to a Starbucks coffee! The apartment itself is very large (even by U.S. standards) and is very well-lit, given that it is a lower unit. It is very clean and well prepared for one's arrival. It has access to a lovely garden, which unfortunately we did not use since the week we were there it was cold and rainy. Some of the touches we enjoyed most about the flat: 1. Fresh flowers and a bottle of wine upon arrival 2. Free wi-fi 3. Access to a washing machine in the unit 5. A reference notebook with helpful notes on everything imaginable The only downsides are really that the cost was on the high end for us, which if you have the funds to make it work, this is a great apartment. It has all the amenities one needs.

It was a pleasant experience dealing with Haven in Paris. We had a fantastic time. Everything was very comfortable. Our greeter was very pleasant and helpful. She made sure we were settled and had everything we needed before leaving. The flat was spotless and fresh. We visit London 4-5 times a year and have always stayed in an hotel - Never again! This Brompton property was like having our own place in London. Much more room than a hotel bedroom. We were able to visit London's superb food markets and take our shopping back to sit and enjoy in comfort. Excellent experience. We look forward to repeating it soon.

We are a family of four. Two adults and two children ages 9 and 12. Our stay was excellent. The apartment was lovely, open, airy, clean, and comfortable. Location in relation to the underground was excellent. We were easily out and about each day. Location of apt was great. Quiet, and clean neighborhood. Many local restaurants, upscale grocery, and shops. Very convenient location. Satellite TV, two couches, dining table and large open windows made staying in very comfortable. We would stay again, and will recommend to friends. Thank you HiP!

John Tallarida July, 2012 Oakland, CA USA

After a long trip over we were pleasantly surprised with this flat. It was lovely, clean and better than advertised. Great beds, nice sheets and just a super comfortable place to live for a few days in London. Great location with great food and the tube just nearby!

Dawn June, 2012 Canada

This is a superior property, well located for all services and transportation. Bed linens and towels are of excellent quality and the flat was pristine. Our greeter was prompt and professional. The flowers and bottle of wine were a bonus as were the internet and free long distance telephone calls. You can believe the pictures on the internet. They truly represent the flat.

Julie June, 2012 San Francisco, CA

My daughters, husband and I spent four nights at the Brompton flat in June and we loved it. The flat was clean and comfortable. We used all of the provided guidebooks, the umbrellas and the available laptop. The location was convenient and made travel throughout the city easy. My daughters enjoyed playing in the park around the block and my husband liked the pub on the corner. We would definitely stay there again.

We are now back from our spring break in London, where we had a great time. We loved the apartment! It was conveniently located, it was very nicely decorated, and it had everything we needed to feel at home. My girls loved the books about dogs! I particularly appreciated the soft towels. Kremena and Elena (our greeters) were very helpful, punctual, and nice! I would definitely recommend this apartment to friends (in fact I have already done this!) Thanks for everything.

Doug H. March, 2012 Kingston, NH USA

Hi..We enjoyed the apt and the neighborhood it was located in...Pubs, grocery and all kinds of public transportation available. The greeter was very nice and helpful. The bathroom has a tub where the sides are very high and you have to be very careful getting in and out..I suggested to the greeter that you get a rubber mat or install "grip" strips on the floor of the tub. I think that elderly people would have a hard time. We had a great week with no rain and would come back.

John Soares March, 2012 Longmeadow MA USA

Absolutely wonderful apartment. Very well equipped and well maintained. Made our stay very comfortable and smooth. Will be back for our future trips to London. I really have no suggestions for you to improve! Just keep it as is.

anonymous February, 2012 USA

Arrived home from London and wanted to thank you for a wonderful experience and the perfect apartment! The apartment was more than I had expected and you were absolutely a pleasure! The location was fantastic, the apartment spectacular and clearly beats staying in a hotel by leaps and bounds! I will always choose you when traveling abroad and this divine apartment will always be my only choice while in London. Searching for my next HIP for our summer Europe trip. Thank you again. Your company is superb!

Melani January, 2012 Dubai, UAE

What a location! All the marvels of London are at your fingertips in this gem of an apartment! Shopping on both the Kings Road and High Street Kensington are both walking distance, as well as many restaurants, pubs, cafes & fresh food shops. The delights of Notting Hill's Portobello Road are just a short 'tube' ride away & a must do activity! We stayed at the apartment during winter & found it to be very warm & cosy, and the heated towel rack was most welcome! Another great touch is the numerous books all about London & England on the shelves- walking guides, eating guides, even a 'haunted' guide, whetting our appetite for sightseeing! We'd love to return in the summer months & make use of that fantastic garden! The whole process from booking to arriving & then the check out was made so stress free by your Haven In Paris Team, thanks again!

Patrick January, 2012 USA

We had such a wonderful stay in the Brompton apartment, and will definitely be recommending this apartment (and Haven in Paris) to all of our friends. The apartment was in a fantastic west London location, very close to the underground network which meant that we could easily get to the apartment from Heathrow airport, and then get to Kings Cross St Pancreas for the Eurostar. We have stayed in other parts of London and never had such great access to transport choices. The area is lively with lots to do within easy reach (shopping and restaurants) but the apartment is an oasis of tranquility. Everything was provided for an enjoyable stay, from lush sheets and towels, to heated bathroom flooring and all the essentials (oil, coffee, sugar etc) to ensure that we arrived to comfort. Our greeter, Kremena was very helpful and was available during our stay to answer any questions. We found the apartment to be very well appointed and decorated with taste, just like an excellent hotel but with the benefit of us all being together. All the comforts of home were provided and more. Compared to the alternative of 2 hotel rooms, this apartment cannot be beaten for convenience and a for wonderful family holiday. We will definitely be back!
